Shorecrest is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Miami. Although not historic, some homes date back to 1918. Originally a neighborhood of huge estates on huge acres of property, these grand estates have been broken up with streets and single family homes so the only signs of the original neighborhood are some of the old huge mansions that still exist (especially on 10th Ave). Many homes are on the water and Shorecrest is one of the most eclectic neighborhoods with all types of architectural elements…you will see a modern 21st Century box next to a 1920’s Spanish Mediterranean next to a 1950’s Beverly Hills ranch.
Neighborhood features include:
Closed proximity to Beaches and 20 minutes from the airport
